Tracey Campbell has been one of our Regional Communication Champions since 2019 and recently took on an enhanced role, working alongside Gill Townend and Abigail Davison-Hoult to provide Communication and Education Support.
Mum to three, including 14 year old Leia who has Angelman syndrome, Tracey is a keen communication advocate. She has presented at many conferences including Angelman UK, Communication Matters, De Montfort University, Talking Mats Information Day, and training days for SLTs and teachers and parents. Tracey ran a successful communication club at her local additional support needs school and is currently considering options to make it COVID friendly! Over lockdown Tracey has expanded her YouTube channel TrAACey Talks from a how-to-use-PODD to include books for older emergent-readers.
A recent graduate of the unique PGCE Special Education Needs: Complex Communication Needs in Australia, Tracey now has the formal qualification to match her years of hands-on experience.
